Quite an unusual battery here, designed for a very specific set of motorbikes. Instead of being square or rectangular, it's actually T-shaped.

Charge your new battery when it arrives, and on first use; after you start your bike, give it a good run to get the energy back into the cells. It will probably take a few of these cycles to store a full charge. This is quite a normal part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries go through to one extent or another.

The battery is sealed lead acid, AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat); it needs no maintenance, no vent pipe, and no spillage.
