The Electric Mobility Rascal Liteway 221 and 224 are lightweight travel mobility scooters; as standard, they take a pair of 14ah batteries, and that is what this offer is for. Many people opt for the smaller 12ah capacity, which will not last as long between charges, but we have included a link at the bottom of the page for them if that is what you would prefer.

The batteries are valve-regulated sealed lead-acid; they will not leak with absorbed glass mat technology. They are non-hazardous and safe for public transport and, for that matter, being flung about in the back of a car.
You should charge your new batteries fully before first use; we strongly recommend charging after every use and, if possible, avoiding the final 20% of capacity on a day's run. This will help the cells last much longer and save you money in the long run. If there are long periods when they are not being used, ensure you charge them every two months to minimise the natural self-discharge that will always occur with rechargeable batteries.
