In order for the Kymco K-Movie to actually be a powered wheelchair it requires a set of batteries which is exactly what we are offering here. This offer is for a pair of twelve-volt, fifty-ampere rechargeable batteries manufactured to the highest quality and recommended by Kymco. The batteries are valve-regulated sealed lead acid and although classed as maintenance-free, a proper charging regime is required which is explained below.
The first thing you should do upon receiving and installing the batteries (which is simple and can be with only a few basic tools, they are stored underneath the seat) is to ensure they have received a full charge before any use. Most importantly, after every use, they need to be put back on charge. Leaving batteries in a discharged state is a sure fire way to ruin them. Another important note to take away is that if a period of five weeks or so will pass without use then a top up charge is required to keep them at full charge ready for next use.
