This listing is for two compatible 12V 5Ah sealed lead acid AGM rechargeable batteries for use in the Chamberlain Liftmaster 475CB and 475LM backup power unit. Fitting your new batteries is fairly straightforward once you have the original casing open.
Once the new batteries have been fitted, charge your battery pack until full before first use. You can then run your system through a few open-close cycles so that the cells have a chance to settle under a load. Try to avoid completely discharging the batteries in one use as this can dramatically reduce their lifespan.
Keep the power unit in a dry ventilated area, and avoid leaving the garage opener disconnected from mains power for a long period. When you have finished with your old batteries, you can take them to your local recycling centre where they will safely dispose of them for you. Putting these batteries in the household waste will only damage the environment.
