After you have unpacked your new battery order from us you will note that they will have a good charge in them, regardless of this you should still complete a full charge before first use, if it's going into a device that is always connected to the mains like a battery backup for monitoring or alarm system then you can miss this step as it will do it for you, there should be no need for many hours, it will probably not take very long at all, just until your charger indicates they are ready, this will of course depend on the charger capabilities, make sure you do not miss the initial charge (unless as stated above), doing so may well reduce overall life expectancy
