If the light is indicating on your front panel of your Smart UPS 700 stating you need batteries then now is the time to act, fitting is very easy, after you have disconnected all power gently lever off the front panel, normal easiest to use a flat screw driver at the top and upper sides, the panel will pop off from the top, it will be attached via a ribbon just rest it on top of the UPS. You will ten be presented with 2 Phillips screws at the top of a metal door, once these have been undone you will expose the batteries, pull them out then put your new ones along side, you will easily be able to see what cables go where, just swap them over and reverse the order, should take you no more than six minutes, and all is done.
