This offer is for a matched pair of 12-amp hour batteries which are the standard fit on this chair. If in doubt we have provided the measurements of them so you can verify before ordering. The batteries are valve regulated sealed lead acid, they will not leak so can be laid on there side which is obviously essential for this transportable power chair and they are not-hazardous so safe for use around the home and on public transport.

Changing the batteries in the box is quite easy, some are in bags so its a little easier but if not, roll the box over and you will see the screw holes, undo the screws and you will be able to lift the lid off to change the batteries, do it one at a time, shouldnt be a problem as only two wires on each battery but better be safe than sorry.
It is always best to fully charge your new batteries before fist use, they will probably not be capable of taking an absolutely full capacity charge until they have been used a few times. We would also suggest that you charge after every single use and as soon as is convenient rather than allow them to sit in a partially charge state, if not being used for long periods then charge every 8-weeks.
