When your order is delivered to you your new batteries will be almost fully charged, but regardless of this you still need to complete a full charge them before first use, the charge time will depend on your charger, just leave it on until it indicates its finished, you may well just want to fit them and use the equipment, but do not miss this first step, it's worth waiting until the first charge has completed and it might contribute to over life span
