Rechargeable 18v 3Ah replacement hedge-cutter batteries for the Bosch AHS-48-LI that last twice as long as the 1.5ah between charges.
The AHS-48-LI is a popular cordless hedge-trimmer, well made and will last many years. You might find supermarket or DIY store branded new tools a tempting purchase instead of a new battery, but you will regret it in time. Far better to invest in a new battery for a quality tool than a throw-away sub-standard piece of kit that you probably will not be able to get a battery for it next year anyway and will end up in a landfill once you have realised your mistake. Not suitable for your pocket and no good for our world that we all have to share.
It is a well-balanced tool at 2.2Kg with soft grip handles. The original battery supplied from most places is relatively small, ours is 3ah, so in most circumstances, it will provide a longer run time. which translates into more hedge cut on a single charge.
Please charge your new cordless hedge cutter battery pack when it arrives and is first used. It will take a few charges and use in the tool before it can accept a full capacity charge. This is quite a normal part of the conditioning process that all batteries will undergo. If you do not use the tool much, perhaps just a few weeks during the summer, then fully charge before putting it away, plus every eight weeks to keep the cells active for the following season.

The Ah (Amp Hour) Rating is the battery's storage (or fuel). The higher it is, the longer the battery lasts between charges, a bit like petrol in your car, so a higher or lower one makes no difference to the performance, just the length of time you can use the tool for.
