The Days health care Strider-ST1 is a car boot lightweight mobility scooter that can easily be broken down to fit in the back of a car, as standard it comes with a pair of 12v 12ah batteries and that is what this offer is for, we may also be able to offer longer runtime batteries to replace these, more information on that will be further down the page.

The batteries are valve regulated, VRLA and AGM, they will not spill and not hazardous as recommended, so OK for public transport as well as airlines, although you should check at the point of booking your flight.
It is essential to keep your batteries charged for extended use, charge before, first and after each use. They will last longer that way; if not being used for more extended periods then charge every eight weeks to minimise the natural self-discharge effect. Your batteries will have a longer life span if you can always maintain at least 20% of the capacity in the cells after a days run.

This means more miles per charge or, more importantly, maintaining a higher capacity in the battery before recharging, which will mean a longer overall life and save you money in the long run.
