When you receive your order from us your new batteries will be almost fully charged but you will still need to complete the charge before first use, it should not take that long, just until the charger indicates its ready, if in doubt overnight will be more than enough, do not just install and go without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span, it's well worth doing
You probably will not notice but it will take up to ten charges and associated use in your device before the batteries are capable of taking a few capacity charge, this is normal, each time you have used your electric vehicle then you should put it back on charge as soon as you can, do not leave it sitting in a semi discharged state for any longer than necessary, never try to discharge the batteries all the way down, this will only reduce the life span and cost you money in the long run, if for any reason you are not using them for long periods then you should recharge every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time
These 12-volt batteries are valve regulated and AGM or absorbed glass mat, not need for any liquid as the acid is held within the glass mat, this means they will not spill and not-hazardous so safe for use around the home and or travelling, even aeroplanes but you should confirm this with your airline at point of booking your flight, they are deep cycle which would be required in this sort of application
