We have tried to list here the relevant information to help you make the decision of purchasing new mobility batteries for your Pride Mobility Sidekick scooter. It uses deep cycle batteries to store the energy required operate the motor for drive, it uses 2 x 12-volt 34-amp hour batteries. They are replacements for them which are as would be needed in such an application rechargeable, they are of course non-spillable and not-hazardous so safe to use indoors. The batteries will be delivered with a good charge in them, but you still need to give them a full charge before using for the first time. You do not need to leave it on for hours on end, just until the charger has indicated that it has finished. Make sure you do not miss the initial charge, doing so may reduce overall life expectancy.
It's not something that most will notice but it will take a few charges and use in the equipment before a full capacity charge is reached, it's part of the normal conditioning process. When you have used your devices then put the batteries back on charge, you do not want to allow them to sit in a partially discharged state.
