The batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you will still have to charge them before first use, while you only need to maintain a charge until the charger indicates that its ready, it probably will not take long and it is very important so not a step you should overlook, while you may well be sorely tempted just to fit them and go without charging it's well worth waiting that short period to set them up in the right way before you start
