The APC Smart-UPS 750 VA USB and serial 230V with the serial code SUA750I or SUA7501 on the reverse is a 500-watt line-interactive system. There are two batteries in the pack for the RBC48 module. Expected life span is 2-5 years in normal conditions. This can vary if there are excessive loads and or incorrect ventilation.
The load will often increase over time due to the heavier energy requirements of more modern machines. the ventilation is probably the worst offender in lowering the life span of batteries as they run too hot. In an ideal world, the UPS would be run in a dust-free climate-controlled room. most installations will not have this facility, you can help by ensuring the vents are kept clear. removing any dust that builds up as this will end up on the internal cooling fans reducing their ability to function at peak performance which over time leads to the system running hotter than it needs to be.
