This is a matching pair of batteries for the APC Smart-UPS uninterruptible power supply with the model tag DLA1500INET. There are quite a few different 1500VA systems so you should check the label on the back of your UPS just to make sure, if its different then use the model number you have in our search facility above to find the right one, or if you know yours takes the cartridge module that will be fine.
This pair of batteries are valve-regulated lead acid, they are absorbed glass mat as well so they are safe for use in a UPS system whether its going in a high-end data centre with all the bells and whistles or a smaller office, even a home office, it will not leak and is not-hazardous, the cells are also recyclable. When they eventually have come to the end of their useful life please ensure they are directed to a relevant centre for recycling, they have an extremely high content of lead and are perfect for this treatment, and you can be smug in the knowledge that you purchased a very green and environmentally friendly product.
We would suggest that after fitting you allow the UPS to run up without any load to start with at least until the batteries are charged. if you can overnight, this will help the UPS settle to the new batteries and reap benefits in the future, more information on this matter will be found in your owners manual.
