If you are using this battery in something like an alarm system with built in mains connected charger then there is no need to be concerned about the charging regime as this will be taken care of by the system, if however you have manually charge it then charge fully before first use, charge as soon as can after each and every use and if not using for longer periods then every two months. It certainly does not do this type of battery any good whatsoever to be allowed to sit around in a discharged state.
