More miles is not the only benefit of higher ampere though, it also means that the batteries wont discharge as much on normal trips. Having more charge in them at the end of the day when you go to recharge them is important because the more you discharge the more damage is done, so allowing them to charge from a higher state of charge will ensure they last longer overall.
Unless you intend to use these batteries in a fixed device that is always connected to the mains like an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) then you should know a few rules on how to best look after them. Firstly, charge fully before use but never for more than 24 hours. Secondly, make sure you charge after every use as leaving in a discharged state will cause damage. And lastly the batteries won’t be used for a period of 8-weeks then a top up charge until full will help keep the cells fresh.
