Electric Mobility is a leading manufacturer of scooters under the Rascal name, some are small pavement-scooters and some are large 8mph road and pavement versions. The Rascal-Frontier comes in the middle somewhere with two battery options available which are explained further down the page. Since it has the Rascal name attached to it you can expect comfort, safety and features to be a priority and it does not disappoint. It features lead spring suspension, a comfortable swivel seat with padded arms, shower-proof switches and an optional all weather canopy for exploring outdoors.

How to charge and maintain scooter batteries?
Although these batteries are classed as maintenance free they do require a healthy charging regime which is not complicated at all. This can be achieved by fully charging before first use and after every use, leaving in a discharged state will cause damage. If you are able to not use the full capacity of the battery it will last much longer overall, this is why the larger ampere batteries are a good option. If you aren’t going to use the batteries for a while then a top up charge every 6-weeks or so will prolong the life of them. They are non-hazardous, leak free and environmentally friendly so please take to a recycling centre at the end of their life.

The first is a pair of 33/35ah batteries that according to Electric mobility gives up to 15-miles. The second is a pair of 22NF 55ah batteries that is physically larger but gives more miles per charge.
