Ring Automotive is leading supplier of electrical goods. car accessories and one of their most popular products, the jump starters. They are very popular with the public because of their high power, ease of use and cheap price. Available in quite a few different versions, the RPP260, REPP260, RPP265 and REPP265 come with many different features as standard. These include but are not limited to a USB socket, 12v charging socket, LED work light, battery power test button, low battery alarm and on unit storage to keep the cables tidy. This is an ideal at home or on the road portable PowerPack.
You may think that the PowerPack has come to the end of its life once its stopped working but fear not, the most likely reason is that you just simply need a new battery which is exactly what we are able to offer here. This is a replacement for the RPP133 that Ring suggests you use but with a higher ampere so in actual fact you are upgrading from the original battery as that only has 33Ah compared to this which has 35Ah(we can even upgrade to 41ah, see the easy upgrades above).

How to charge and maintain your new battery?
Your PowerPack would have come with a charger and thats what you should be using. Ideally you want to install your battery into the PowerPack and charge until full. once full you can take off charge. The battery will maintain a full charge for a good four weeks while not on charge so no need to leave it on longer than needed. If a period of four-weeks pass without use then charge until full again. Make sure you charge until full after every single use. leaving in a discharged state is the worst thing you can do to a battery and will destroy it for future use.

You will note we have included to pictures of an open RPP265, in this case the terminal is on the other side, now I very much doubt if you will find the correct battery, unless you get it from North America, and from what we hear even those have stopped now. Our fix, is to turn the battery around, flatten the terminal plates and then it fits fine, its either that or you might have to end up scraping the box, which would be a crying shame, well worth the extra 10 minutes effort.
