SRT2200XLI battery Installation
Installing the batteries is comparatively easy procedure if in any doubt refer to your manual for the process. It can be done by most people however if in doubt please seek advice from a professional. It should be as simple as taking the back cover off, probably held in with some screws. Slide out the module and swap over the batteries, install it back into the machine and you are good to go.
How to extend the life of your SRT2200RMXLI batteries?
You should expect somewhere between two to five year life span however many large businesses might change the batteries every year or two but there are simple ways to help extend the life of them. The batteries on offer are maintenance-free, sealed lead-acid with suspended electrolyte, leak proof, non hazardous, recyclable and can be fitted on their side, ideal for installing into these types of systems. The UPS obviously has its own charging system which is a great start as a machine is much better at charging than a human will ever be. You should run the system without load directly after installation as this will help them reset. Other tips on extending battery life are making sure the system is clear of dust, having good ventilation around the system, stored in a climate controlled room and using less than 40% load where possible.

This will fulfil the natural green life of this product and ensure that the environmentally friendly energy source completes its life journey to a fitting end.
