The Roma Reno-Elite power chair includes a captains seat, making it one of the more comfortable compact power chairs available.  The Reno-Elite CS's compact design allows it to turn in a small space of only 55cms, making it very manoeuvrable and ideal for use both inside and outside. Non-marking tyres are gentle on hard floors when used inside, and rear mud guards help to deflect any spray water when used outside. When it's time to travel with the power chair, it disassembles into four parts without the use of tools, making it simple to lift if necessary. The are a couple of options from Invamed, the P325/CS with Captains seat, and P325/RS rising seat, they both take the same battery pack.

How to charge and maintain your new Roma Reno-Elite P325 batteries?
There are many myths about battery charging, and depending on who you ask, you'll get a different story, but if you follow a few simple rules, you should be able to keep them in good condition. To begin, despite the fact that our batteries are delivered in a more or less fully charged state, you should charge until full before the first use, which should only take a few minutes. More importantly, never leave the battery discharged; charge as soon as possible after each use until full, and never completely drain the battery.

Although power chairs are many people's lifelines to the outside world, they may be stored or not used for a while; if this is the case, charge your batteries every 4/5 weeks to slow down the natural discharge rate that all rechargeable batteries have.

Installation of these batteries are simple, they are stored underneath the seat. There are no special tools required for this, just a screwdriver and some patience. The batteries that come with the Roma Reno-Elite P325 would usually have been a twenty one ampere and what we are offering here is a twenty two to directly replace it. This will slightly increase the length of distance your power chair will be able to travel before needing a recharge.

These sealed lead AGM batteries can be mounted on their side, making them (and your old ones) environmentally friendly and recyclable. Please take them to your local recycling centre when they have reached the end of their useful life so that they can be transformed into something new and continue on their green journey.
