If indeed you will be using this replacement Dong Jin GT9A-BS battery to start an engine in something like a generator, then it would be fair to assume it's not going to be used every day in most circumstances. If this is the case then you still need to keep the battery in good order. Charge when it arrives and first use. If thre will be long periods where its not being used then also recharge every four weeks to keep the cells active. This is assuming that there is nothing draining the power inbetween, even leaving the ignition on can bring it down all of the way.

The very best way of looking after the battery if there will long periods where its not being used, perhaps its only used during one of the seasons in the year, ould be to remove the battery or at least disconnect from the frame and recharge every six weeks. Do not leave on a charger, just charge until fully charged then remove.
