This product is a set of four individual premium AGM sealed lead rechargeable batteries for the 5PX2000iRT2U or 5PX2200iRT2U that you can install on your own with just a little expertise and maybe a screwdriver. Because the UPS handles all of the charging and voltage regulation once they are installed, maintaining them is easy. There are some things you can do to assist, though. First, let the UPS operate for a while without any load on it; this will assist charge the batteries and acclimatise them to their new surroundings. Secondly, batteries naturally become hot when in use, so make sure there is adequate ventilation and that you do not use the UPS as a desk or table. Lastly, the batteries are capable of a high load but if you can keep it below 40% most of the time they will last much longer.
