The MobilityPlus+ Easy-Fold Heavy-Duty powerchair is the largest and most durable model in the range. Is made to increase the user's independence on any surface with the least amount of physical exertion. The powerchair is sturdy, collapsible and perfect for transportation in cars and other vehicles. The chair has an easy-to-use joystick that is used to regulate movement and can be adjusted to the severity of any impairment. It is built with a 16-inch rear-wheel drive system to handle rugged terrains like slopes and ramps and offers a comfortable ride all the way through. There are electromagnetic brakes and a seat belt included for added user safety.

There are two batteries in this set.
The standard batteries that came with this wheelchair would usually be 20ah, the ones we are offering here are 22ah, offering a straight upgrade. We can also offer 26ah for more mileage, which can be selected on the easy upgrade drop-down menu above.
When you receive your replacement batteries, they will be almost entirely charged. However, you should charge the device completely before using it for the first time and, more importantly, after each use. The primary cause of batteries failing is leaving them discharged. If you won't be using the chair for an extended period of time, recharge it every four weeks to help slow down the natural self-discharge rate.
These AGM batteries are of the highest calibre and contain a sizable amount of lead. Although recyclable, this lead makes the batteries hefty. When a battery reaches the end of its useful life, it is to be sent to a recycling facility where it will be processed and maybe turned into another useful product.
Opening the case to install your new batteries is a fairly simple job however this one is a little more unique compared to other mobility scooters. First, you will need to undo the two large bolts going through the handle followed by the six screws. Carefully open the box, ensuring you do not pull too hard on the wires inside.
Take note of where the wires go and simply replace one battery at a time. The whole process shouldn’t take you longer than twenty minutes and can be done with basic tools.
