There are two batteries in the pack for the Viper AS5160, AS5160T or AS5160TO.
The VIPER AS5160 series comes equipped with AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries which is what we are offering here. They are a popular choice for floor cleaning machines due to their spill-proof nature and resistance to vibration, which is particularly important when used in environments where movement and bumps are frequent.
Even though these batteries technically don't require maintenance, it's still crucial to follow a robust and consistent charging schedule. First and foremost, make sure your new batteries are fully charged before using them for the first time, and most importantly, after each usage! A battery can be quickly ruined by leaving it drained. Secondly, try to leave them with at least 20% charge remaining if at all possible. Finally, charge the batteries every four weeks when they are not in use.
