Your new batteries that we dispatch to you will be almost fully charged but the system will still need to complete a service charge after installing, you should note that while this is going on you will not have the full runtime protection, best advice would be to allow the system to run without load to start to allow the new battery energy level to reset
You can expect batteries in this UPS to have a life expectancy of between 2-5 years, this will of course be very dependent on its general use, supplying adequate ventilation is important, the batteries are being continuously used the hotter they get the shorter the life span, also do not overload with to many devices, if you can keep the load below 40%, while the system may be of going higher than that its working the battery cell harder which means a shorter life span
These batteries are sealed lead valve regulated or VRLA and benefit from AGM technology, this means they will not spill so can be mounted on the side in a UPS without fear of leakage, they can be used in rack or tower modules, they are not-hazardous so safe for use in mission critical environments including busy data centres or hospitals
