The batteries that you receive from us will be almost fully charged but the system will still need to complete a service charge after installation, until this charge has completed you will not have the full runtime protection available, you probably just want to install and leave the system to its devices but its best to run the system without a load to so it can properly reset
Batteries used in this application would have expected life span of between two to five years, this will though vary greatly on the general conditions, ensure there is plenty of ventilation around the device, do not cover the vents or place it next to a radiator, do not use it as a book shelf, if the batteries get to hot all the time it will shorten the life span, If you can keep the constant load below 40% the batteries will end up lasting longer, a high load will be at the expense of the overall life expectancy of the cells
