• Mercury mobility battery

The rechargeable mobility batteries are normally sealed lead acid or known as valve regulated lead acid batteries, this type of battery cell is very hardy and not susceptible to extreme hot and cold temperatures, have a high energy to weight ratio and as they are sealed can be mounted on their side, this is particularly useful for the more mobile portable scooters that may be transported in a vehicle.

The batteries can last a long time as long as they are cared for, the charging regime is paramount to the long life of them, charge when the arrive and first use, after every use and if not being used for long periods then every four weeks, it will do the cells no good whatsoever if they are allowed to sit in a discharged state for any longer than necessary.

As in common with all rechargeable batteries it will probably take about ten uses and connected charges before its able to receive a full capacity charge, this in a normal part of the conditioning that all rechargeable batteries go though to help set themselves up for future use.
