These batteries are very common on lightweight mobility scooters where two of them are combined to produce 24 volts, they are also used in some large computer UPS computer backup systems as well as Golf cart trolleys, in fact they can be found in many applications that require a constant and reliable 12 volt power source.
This size battery comes in two standard sizes the first one is the most popular one, the physical size is as follows:
Length is 166 mm or 6.53 inches,
Width is 176 mm or 6.92 inches,
height is 125 mm or 4.92 inches,
The other is the tall version, generally used in golf cart trolleys, the size of this one is as follows:
165 mm or 6.49 inches long,
125 mm or 4.92 inches wide,
172 mm or 6.88 inches high.
Both have the same technologies just a slightly different shape, both need to be kept charged, it is far better to charge after every use that to allow the battery to become discharged which will over time shorten the battery life prematurely, if you use the battery seasonally them ensure its charged before you put it away and administer a top up charge every five weeks.
