The Audi Coupe started life in 1980 and ran to 1988, very similar design to the earlier Quattro. then in 1984 a upgraded Coupe-Quattro was made available with the option of permanent 4-wheel drive, the S2 Coupe-Quattro ran between 1991 and 1995 which was the first of the Audi's to wear the S badge, a celebration of the famous S1 rally competition car of worldwide fame that ruled the international circuit at the time.
