When you receive your order from us, your new batteries will be almost fully charged, but you should ensure you run the engine for a period after fitting, as the first charge is important.
While is not something that most will even notice, it will take a number of charges and corresponding use in the device before a full capacity charge is reached. This is a normal part of the conditioning process. Do not attempt to deliberately discharge the batteries; it will only harm them and shorten their lifespan. If there are extended periods when the batteries are not being used, ensure they are fully charged beforehand, then recharged every 4 weeks. Do not leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours.
Ensure you order the correct battery by carefully checking the code on your old battery and comparing it with the information here. a lot of them are very similar so it can be easy to make a mistake, if in doubt check the batteries themselves, the dimensions and anything written on the side of them. we have included the physical sizes of the batteries so you can double check, do this before ordering, the batteries are as you would expect recyclable, more detailed information on recycling can be found at the foot of this page.
