When you receive your Rover Allegro, Ambassador, Cityrover, Commerce, or Ital order from us, your new batteries will be almost fully charged. After starting the engine, make sure you go for a run, as the first charge is always important.
Most users will not even notice, but it will take a number of charges and associated use on your equipment before they are capable of accepting a full-capacity charge. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process. Do not attempt to discharge the batteries fully, as this can drastically shorten their lifespan, costing you money in the long run. they may be protracted periods where the batteries are not being used, if this is the case ensure they are fully charged first, then top up every 4 weeks but do not leave on a charger for more than 24 hours.
So many battery codes are similar; you should carefully check them before ordering to ensure you are getting the right pack. If in doubt, look at your old batteries, take note of the dimensions and anything written on the side, as this will always be the best information to have. we have also included on the page the dimensions so you can confirm before ordering, these batteries are made mainly of lead which is easy to be recycled, more information about recycling can be found at the foot of this page.
