Charge your battery before first use, you will probably find it will take several cycles, that is, use in your scooter and related charge before they can accept a full capacity charge. this is quite normal, try to get into the habit where possible of charging them after every use. It is far better to do that than to allow them to run down, and they will last much longer that way. If not used for long periods, instigate a top-up charge every four or five weeks to keep the cells active.
