These are heavy-duty, long-range Veleco Sharpy Pro batteries. They are sealed and valve-regulated, use an absorbed glass mat, and will not leak, are not hazardous, and are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. There are some upgrades possible; these will be listed under the easy upgrades above.
Charge your Veleco Sharpy Pro battery when your order arrives and before first use. You will probably find it takes around ten cycles, that is, use on your scooter and related charging, before they can accept a full capacity charge. This is quite normal. Try to get into the habit of charging them after every use. It is far better to do that than to allow them to run down, and they will last much longer that way. If not used for long periods, apply a top-up charge every 4 or 5 weeks to keep the cells active.
