The Electric mobility Rascal 650 scooter has a maximum speed of 6mph and is road legal with a weight capacity of 21.5 stone, it has both rear and front suspension over slim profile 11 inch tyres and a full road use lighting and indicator set, adjustable swivel seat and tiller arm.
The Rascal 450 is very similar to the above, it is a pavement scooter so restricted to 4mph with a slightly lower ground clearance and higher mileage range, but only just, it is not road legal but still normally come with lighting and indicator kits.
Both of the models above use the same battery pack, a pair of 12-volt 50Ah sealed lead acid valve regulated batteries and that is what this offer is for, our batteries also benefit from being non-spillable and safe for travel as well as aeroplanes although you should check with your airline first, this is due to the AGM technology making them not hazardous.
The batteries will come out to you almost fully charged, but we would strongly suggest a charge is made before first use, also charge after each and every use, do not allow them to sit in a partially discharged state for any longer than necessary, also if not being used for longer periods you should instigate a charge every four weeks to keep the cells fresh in an attempt to overcome the natural discharge that will occur over this period, but do not leave on a charge for more than 20-hours.
