The standard fit is for a pair of 12v 50ah batteries, they are located under the front cowling below the seat, this is a easy access cover and full instructions have also been printed on the cover of how to remove them making the job even easier, remember though the batteries although are easy to install yourself are quite heavy so be mindful of this when replacing them.
Although the batteries need no maintenance throughout there life they do need to be kept charged, ensure the batteries are fully charged before you use your scooter, charge after every use, do not try to run the batteries down, this can lead to a shorter life and even damage them. If you are not using them for long periods ensure that you charge them at least once every 6-weeks to arrest the natural self discharge that will occur.
