This offer is for a Drive Medical Mercury Envoy 6, 8 & 8+ MS058 mobility scooter replacement battery. The batteries are rechargeable, non-hazardous, non-spillable, sealed lead acid AGM.
The Envoy 6, 8 and 8+ are class three mobility scooter which replaces the previous model, the standard Envoy 8. It has performance stats and features that compare it with larger machines, including a powerful motor that will give the scooter an eight-mph speed limit. The main features that make this mobility scooter stand out are; The all-round suspension system and large pneumatic tyres with five-inch sport-style alloy rims, which both help to make the ride smooth for up to thirty miles! The scooter also features a 'delta' steering control and a clear LCD screen to show you loads of information while driving.

The first thing you should do when you receive your new batteries is to put them on a charge to ensure that they are at their total capacity, although they should arrive almost complete. To maintain the batteries at peak condition, it is crucial to recharge after every use and charge them every eight weeks when the scooter is not being used. Also, please do not leave it on charge for more than twenty-four hours, as this can also damage the batteries.
For installation, it is best to refer to your manual but changing the batteries is very simple. Firstly, make sure the scooter is switched off and remove the seat. Secondly, lift the battery cover and disconnect the black and red connectors on the battery. Next, remove the Velcro straps and pull the batteries out. To install your new batteries, follow exactly what you did to remove the old ones but in reverse order.
