Handicare-1000 Smart XL XXL stairlift battery sealed replacement.
Replacement pair of sealed 12v batteries for the Handicare-1000 Smart-seat, XL and XXL versions stairlift, rechargeable high quality battery delivered to door at low costs.

These replacement batteries are suitable for the following products:

• Handicare 1000 battery
• Handicare 1000 XL battery
• Handicare 1000 XXL battery

Handicare produce some high quality products in the mobility community and their stair-lifts do not disappoint. As standard it is supplied with a fold away footrest, lift up seat and arms when not in use and your choice of colour. Also available is the XL and XXL versions which are able to take a higher weight capacity.

Charging:
If you are not using your new batteries then they should be charged when they arrive and every four weeks. Once installed there is normally charging points at the top and bottom of the rail. There may also be others depending on the installation. Normally if not the correct position the lift will bleep for 15 seconds and the display will show as “2”. Ensure it is in the charging position as the lift will not work if the batteries have been left to go flat.

Recycling:
These batteries are many made from lead, this means that when the time comes and they are no longer able to produce the energy required they can be turned into another useful product. But this is only if you ensure they are sent to a recycling centre. Your local council will have one near you. This will fulfil the natural green life of this product and ensure that the environmentally friendly energy source completes its life journey to a fitting end. What every happens do not send to landfill, that would be a total waste of precious resources.

The batteries we supply will be non-hazardous, not-spillable, sealed AGM and environmentally friendly. this means that they can be recycled at the end of their life. The charging will be taken care of by the stairlift but if there comes a period of 4-weeks or more when its not in use, turn it on to allow some charge to flow into the batteries, this will prolong the life of them. similarly if not being used, perhaps in storage for some reason charge the batteries when they arrive and before putting them away, then again every four weeks.
