The Mercury M48-GT was created for use in demanding, long-distance applications. With a carrying capacity of 39-stones, this robust scooter can handle most terrain types. The M48-GT has a fresh, contemporary look and has a number of great features. Some of these features include a comfortable rotating admirals seat, front and rear suspension, auto electric safe breaking system, large seat back storage pocket and of course a large space for batteries. These batteries are the heart of your scooter and give it the energy to work and allow you freedom.
It is important to replace your batteries when needed and take care of them throughout their life. Even though these are classed as maintenance-free, they still need to be regularly charged. Even though the batteries will be almost fully charged when they are delivered, you should charge them before use. Battery damage happens when they are left half discharged, so don't leave them that way. Charge your batteries after every usage, even if that means more than once a day. To keep them in good functioning order, if you don't use them for a lengthy period of time, recharge them every eight weeks.
100ah Upgrade
As standard, the Mercury M48-GT mobility scooter will come with a pair of twelve volt, seventy-five ampere batteries and that is what we are offering on this page. However, it has the space for larger 100ah batteries that will give you a longer running time, these batteries can be selected on the easy upgrade section or on our alternatives tab.
