Using a Mitre or perhaps more commonly known chop saw on site can save a lot of time and of course being cordless makes it even easier without the need for mains power, these are clearly very good pieces of kit and well worth getting a new battery for, if you use your a lot we also have a longer lasting battery, more details of this will be found below
Keeping the battery is good order is of course paramount and its not difficult to do, just keep it charged, if you work on the tools then you probably often use the battery, to be honest this is the best way of treating it, it likes to be used and charged. If you do not use it much then charge after use and putting it away, do not leave it on the charger for any longer than is required to get a full capacity charge as this can do not damage than good, just remove it when its done
Charge the battery fully when you receive it and first use, you will possibly note that it will take a few (normally up to 10) charges and use before it will be able to accept a full capacity charge, this is quite a normal process in the conditioning of a new rechargeable battery pack.
