There is an excellent range of tools, very hardy, made to last with quality parts and well worth the investment of a new battery. This battery is 2ah, and it is acceptable to replace it with yours if it is different. The amp hour is the energy storage of the battery, very much like fuel in a motor vehicle. The more you have, the further you can travel; so it goes, the more holes you can drill or screws you can fasten.

If you use your tool and battery all year round, you will probably notice it will last a lot longer. However, if you do not, it is essential to keep them charged. as in common with all rechargeable batteries, they will lose a certain amount of energy daily. This is natural and normal. If you are not using the tool, charge fully before putting it away, and every month or so, it will have a much longer life span.

We recommend you fully charge the battery when it arrives and before first use. You will probably find it will not take that long as these batteries will be almost fully charged upon receipt. Further, it can take up between five and ten total charges and reasonable use of the tool before the battery becomes conditioned and able to take its full charge.
