The best way to keep your new Makita 1433 1434 or 1435 replacement battery in tip-top condition is to keep it charged. tradesman and professionals who use their tools regularly will always get far more use from the batteries purely because they are being used a lot. This is not so easy to achieve if you are an infrequent user but you can do some things to help out.
Charge fully upon receipt and first use. you may note that it will take several recharges and use in your tool before the battery is capable of taking a full capacity charge. this is quite normal and part of the conditioning process. try to use it quite a lot initially. Charge after use and before you put it away and if not using for extended periods then recharge every nine weeks, possibly shorter during the cold damp winter months but do not leave on the charger for more than twenty-four hours at a time.
This battery will fit all of the tools in the range which is quite extensive. we have listed many of them below but not all of them as there are many variations. but if doubt rest assured if your battery has the Makita serial codes of either 1433 1434 or 1435 on it then this is the battery for you.

The capacity rating on my battery is different, can I still use your battery?
Yes, that is OK, The Ah (Amp Hour) rating is the storage (or fuel) of the battery, the higher it is the longer the battery lasts between charges, a bit like petrol in your car so a higher or lower one makes no difference to the performance, just the length of time you can use the tool for between charges.
We are also able to offer this battery as a 3ah version. this means it will last one and a half times as long between charges, so third more holes could be drilled on a single charge and still work in all the original chargers so a very easy upgrade path, the link to this extended version will be in the alternatives tab or as an easy upgrade above.
