If you are more of a seasonal user of your cordless tools then the best advice would be to charge after use and before putting them away. If you are not using it much then a top-up recharge every ten weeks will help overcome the natural discharge that will occur over this period but do not leave on charge for more than twenty-four hours at a time. Just until fully charged, else small incremental charges might be made reducing overall battery life expectancy.

The battery was for my hedge trimmer. The old one was failing to hold a charge. Arrived in in quick time, works a treat, so much better than the original when new. Only reason why not an excellent rating, it was a bit pricey in my view. Not saying I could get it cheaper elsewhere, but for a few more pounds I could have had a new trimmer complete with battery ***** Thank you for your review, yes batteries can be expensive, but older tools are far better made than the modern equivalents and will last so much longer, probably longer than new ones would now so not really a comparison and of the main part of the tool is the battery itself, tool makers just want to sell you a new tool, they do not want you buying a battery instead *****
