The batteries that we will send out to you will be almost fully charged, but the system will still need to finish off a full service charge, it does mean of course that during this interim period the full runtime protection will not be available to you until its finished, if you have the opportunity it will be best to run the system without a load to start so it can properly reset itself to the new energy level
It would be fair to expect batteries to last somewhere between two to five years in this UPS, this is not a set rule though and a lot will depend on how they are used, sufficient ventilation is important, preferably in a air conditioned communications room, batteries will in general use get hot if the heat cannot disperse it will shorten life span, also do not overload with to many devices, if you can keep the load below 40%, while the system may be of going higher than that its working the battery cell harder which means a shorter life span
This product is recyclable, please ensure they are disposed of at a recycling centre when they have fulfilled their purpose for you, more information about recycling can be found at the foot of this page, check the product code carefully before ordering as many UPS systems have similar ones
