Despite the fact that the batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged the system will still need to complete and finish off a full charge, you should note that while this is going on the system will of course not be able to offer the full runtime backup time period until it has finished doing this, while it may never be convenient in this fast moving world it would still be best to run without any load to start so the system can fully reset itself to the new battery energy level
Batteries used in this application would have expected life span of between two to five years, this will though vary greatly on the general conditions, ensure there is plenty of ventilation around the device, do not cover the vents or place it next to a radiator, do not use it as a book shelf, if the batteries get to hot all the time it will shorten the life span, If you add more devices over time keep an eye on the load, if you can keep it below 40% it will last longer, while its more than capable of going higher it will be at the expense of the battery life
These batteries will require no general maintenance whatsoever, this of course does not include charging, they are AGM and VRLA, they are also not-hazardous so safe to use in busy data centres or the home office, they can be used in rack mountable or tower systems as they will not leak if mounted on the side
