Belkin F6C120-UNV battery

These batteries are non-spill so that they can be mounted on their side. They are non-hazardous and safe for many environments, schools, hospitals, and home offices.

Valve-regulated lead-acid batteries, or VRLA, are also AGM. The acid is suspended in a glass mat so it will not leak, absorbed by glass mat technology.

Batteries are a perfect fit and they need to be for this unit, or the similar units in the range. These Belkin units are tricky when it comes to battery replacement but if you are reasonably proficient at a bit more than just plugging in the connectors you should be OK. Else these units are not considered suitable for home repair. Once opened, to avoid having to remove the circuit board completely (to be avoided if possible), you WILL need a small angled hex screwdriver to unscrew the battery cage connections at the front (be careful of the balun). Also a flexible or angled ratchet nut spinner is needed to remove the battery cage nuts at the base. Then by removing the two top screws (at the rear) holding the circuit board in place the cage can be gently lifted to release/replace the old batteries. I have purposefully not mentioned the obvious removal of the cables to the battery pack and replacement of them. Also you may find it easier to unclip a couple of the connectors to the circuit board to avoid straining them.
