To maintain safe voltage levels for the connected equipment, the UPS offers Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR). The built-in data line protection shields phones, networks, and communication equipment from surges, spikes, and other power irregularities. With just one button press, users can configure advanced settings, such as alert of potential power problems and self-test, and access information about power/battery conditions.
Maintenance of RBP0124 and RBP0016 battery
This UPS's battery life should last between two and five years, according to CyberPower and the battery's manufacturers, but this is not a hard and fast rule since much depends on how they are used. The batteries will heat up during routine use, and the hotter they get, the shorter their lifespan, so adequate ventilation is needed. Keep the load at less than 40% to get a long battery life.
RBP0124 and RBP0016 Installation:
It only takes five minutes and a screwdriver to install the new battery in your UPS, and the process is surprisingly simple.
Before attempting to replace the battery, abide by CyberPower's safety recommendations. These include turning off and unplugging any connected equipment to the UPS before turning off and disconnecting the UPS from the AC power source.
By unfastening the screw holding the battery cover to the UPS, you can slide the battery cover open and set it aside. Slide the new battery into the compartment and connect the wires after removing the old battery and removing the battery connectors. Put the battery cover back on and tighten it with the screw.
