Maintenance for new RBP0023 battery in PR1500ELCD UPS
These premium replacement batteries are designed for use in uninterruptible power supply devices and should last between two and five years, per CyberPower recommendations. It all depends on how well-maintained and how hard the batteries are pushed, which is why the range is so varied. You can help the UPS in a few different ways, and it naturally has a charging system of its own. After installation, start the UPS without any load. Avoid using the UPS as a table as well. Maintaining the vents open and in a well-ventilated area is a good idea. Last but not least, try to keep the load below 40% if at all possible.
RBP0023 and PR1500ELCD Installation
First of all, turn off and unplug all connected equipment and disconnect from the power source. Secondly, remove the two screws from the battery compartment cover and slide the cover off. Remove the batteries from the compartment and disconnect the wires paying close attention to how they was connected. Install the new batteries in the same space and close the unit back up. Allow the new batteries to settle and charge until ready.<br>
