The OR600ERM1U CyberPower UPS offers comprehensive power protection for mission-critical applications such as servers, telecom equipment, internet working gear, and other important devices. With pure sine wave output and automatic voltage regulation, the UPS can maintain secure power levels for the attached devices without using battery power. To offer the most convenience and flexibility in various management circumstances, its detachable, remote-controlled LCD readout can even be mounted to the wall.
Charging and maintenance:
To ensure that the battery receives its full charge capacity, it must be recharged for at least 8 hours. Charge loss could happen while being transported and stored. Leave the device hooked to an AC outlet to replenish the battery. Both the on and off positions of the device allow for charging.
If you are storing your UPS for an extended period of time, ensure to store with the battery fully charged. To ensure battery life, you must recharge it every three months.
How to replace your RBP0019 battery
To begin, switch off and unplug all connected equipment to ensure safety. The UPS can then be turned off and unplugged from the AC power source. Next, unscrew two screws from the battery compartment cover and slide the top fully off the device to remove the front panel of the UPS. Remove the batteries from the container and unplug the old battery cables. To install the replacement batteries, connect the wire bundle (one red and one black wire) to the connector from the battery pack and replace the batteries in the compartment. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the retaining screws and replace the front panel on the UPS. Before using, charge for 8 -16 hours.
More detailed information can be found in the user manual for the UPS system, which is available for download on our Downloads tab.
Battery disposal:
Once you have replaced your old battery with the new one, you can simply dispose of the battery at your local recycling centre. This ensures that lead, a very valuable resource, can be correctly recycled and even potentially reused.
