There are twelve extended 9-amp hour batteries in this set for to replace the ones in the Emerson Liebert GXT2-72vBatt cabinet UPStation battery module, they are sealed valve regulated VRLA AGM, recommended for use in uninterruptible power supplies.

This extended module has a rack height of 2U, it can be rack mounted or sometimes seen with wall mounting kit in telecoms cabinets.
More often than not this extended module is paired with the GXT2-3KRT230E UPStation to offer extended runtime but could of course be with other units.
These valve regulated sealed lead or VRLA batteries will not spill when mounted on the side and recommended for use in UPS systems, safe for use in busy data centres or medical establishments. In such a installation the life span in normal conditions are between 2-5 years, this can be greatly altered if they have a constant large load or lack ventilation, keep a look out at the vents, dust often forms there and makes its way into the working reducing the efficiency of built in cooling, these batteries are the higher capacity 9ah versions as recommended for this install.
